There's a bit of a line at lunch (as expected) but definitely worth the wait! Best tonkatsu I've had. Getting a bar spot also means we got a great view of how freshly everything is prepped. Definitely would line up for this again!

Got a lunch set for 1000 yen which includes everything in the picture (free refills on rice and cabbage). I got the smallest size which was more than enough for me. The pork was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside — everything I was looking for in a tonkatsu!

Great fast-casual pork katsu restaurant with a well priced lunch menu. Main choice is between loin and tenderloin for approx. ¥1,200 or $11. They also offer upgraded pork options which are sold by the gram. The location is in the basement level of Roppongi Hills’ north tower.

Fantastic tonkatsu! Very crispy crust on the outside with tender and juicy pork on the inside! There is an English menu if needed with instructions on how to enjoy tonkatsu. Free refill on rice and cabbage!

Ordered the Super Premium Tenderloin Gen Ton Pork (from Nagano). It had the perfect crunch, very tender, didn’t need a knife. It went well with either the salt or sauce alone or with both.Nice ambiance. Dark and cool, a good respite from the summer sun outside. Accommodating and polite staff. A must when in Tokyo!

My favourite place in Roppongi! They accept international credit cards, and the tonkatsu is out of this world.comes with English menu and instructions. Queue outside for a seat, and the rice and cabbage are free flow.

An absolutely must if you really want to experience the real tonkatsu. They have two options and I recommend the higher end one as the meat is an experience on its own.Not a fancy and elaborated menu..they only do one thing but they do it to perfection.The service is fantastic and they let you be. They try their best to understand you and help as much as they can.The place is small but enough space so you don’t feel crowded.We will come back for sure in our next trip to Tokyo!

Pork cutlets (Loin) is fatty, and thats gooood. What you would like to order is at least a 1.5 times size, premium Loin set. The cutlet is covered in nice flaky crisp. It flakes off with every bite. Staff here are friendly and speaks english.

Premium pork cutlet is great, and really tasty. Ample seats at the counter where you can see the chefs in action.Quite a pleasant experience. The prices you see on menu are nett, and I paid 2400 yen for premium pork 150g (mid portion). Apparently it's standard price for such even if you go other places in Ropponggi. I would prefer large portion to be completely satisfied but wouldnt want to dish out 3500 yen for a meal.

Got the highest grade roast tonkatsu. Not as good as it’s parent restaurant in Nishi-Azabu as you can’t get a wide selection, but you don’t have to wait and you can get pretty decent cuts for the price. Imo tonkatsu isn’t worth eating unless done right. Lowest grade katsu is overpriced, but the next step up is worth it.

Ok is it good tonkatsu yes, but is it one of the best (which I was hoping it to be at that level), no, it is in between the really good ones w less branches nd the ones with multi branches that are more cater to the mass audiences, would I come again, yes if I'm nearby, no if I have to drive here just for this

The most amazing Tonkatsu we've ever had. Juicy and crispy, it almost felt like we were eating premium Japanese Wagyu! The side dishes were also amazing here, and they were quite comfortable speaking English as well.Make sure you ask your hotel concierge to help you reserve a seat at this branch because it is always very full.

Cheap and delicious tonkatsu lunch set at 1000 yen. But still not best tonkatsu I have tried in Tokyo. Q for 15 min during lunch hour. Free refill rice and cabbage.

This place has veg ramen as well. Ramen is extremely delicious and quantity is also good.

Ridiculous. Hands down the best Katsu I’ve ever had. Thick cuts, fatty, high quality and full of umami. Would recommend eating the katsu here with a hint of salt so you can get the whole pure experience.

Basically Japanese people really know how to fried stuff, and one of the best thing they can do is Tonkatsu. No matter the basic option or the premier one, they are both great! Their Tonkatsu is not using slice meat, but thick one. So when you give a bite, can easily taste the juice of Japanese pork. And that's the essence of Tonkatsu, that you need to make sure the entire meat is cooked and keep the juice at the same time. Of course the fired cover also need to be crisp. A must try food in Japan and this is one of the best place for it. BTW, they have English menu.

Ok but not amazing tonkatsu. I was burping up gross frying oil burps a few hours afterwards. Can think of many other great tonkatsu places that don’t weigh heavily in your stomach for hours after.

This branch is conveniently located and easily accessible by the metro. Waited in the queue for about 30 mins. Affordable tonkatsu and service was fast. The pork batter crisp and light, but the pork itself was less tender than I had expected. Loved that most people get to sit at the bar area and see the chefs in action.

Juicy native Japanese pork cutlets. Everything is prepared fresh, if you come at dinner times, most likely there will be queues.Nice and bright deco. But slightly difficult to find, at the B2 level of the Beauty Plaza.
